Eco classrooms for nurseries and pre schools

Nurseries and pre-schools are the initial step into the education world, babies and toddlers need positive early learning experiences to help their intellectual, social and emotional development.

Inspired Building Systems design and construct innovative, exciting and engaging eco buildings that encourage development. We incorporate the latest in sustainable construction techniques and energy saving technology to ensure that every Inspired Building achieves an 'A' rated EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) which reduces on going energy costs.

Our team's experience in creating inspired environments for very young children is valuable especially during the design stage where we encourage a close collaborative approach to create improved client specific designs.

Safe and inspiring eco classrooms

We promote a seamless connection with external areas to let learning extend beyond the internal environment which encourages learning with nature. Internally, generous areas are provided for movement and active participation with the associated quiet rooms, staff room/office, storage, toilets and cloak area designed to meet children and carer numbers. In creating a safe environment for very young children we also incorporate the practical considerations like low level sinks, infant toilets and cubicles, coat hooks, anti-finger traps on doors, impact protection on worktop corners and colourful interior decoration.

During the construction phase our method of construction brings many advantages, for example a 30 place nursery will be completed onsite in as little as 6 weeks! Our ability to work safely on live sites in any season provides further benefits.

We are proud to be members of the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom (CLOtC). We support the aims of CLOtC as we too believe that every child should have the opportunity to experience the world beyond the classroom walls as an essential part of learning and development.
